While the canteens of different colleges serve a large number of food items, they are famous for a specific item. Here in this article, we have collected the famous dishes of famous canteens of the famous colleges of Bhubaneswar. We have compiled a data of four colleges of Bhubaneswar. While two of them are engineering colleges, the other two are management colleges. The engineering colleges are the two famous deemed universities of the state, KIIT and ITER. The two management colleges are XIMB and RCM.

It serves various kinds of fast foods which include masala dosa, chole bhatore and many more like this. But the food item on the menu that draws most students to the canteen is their chicken magi. This dish, which is served here at a cheap price and within less time, has got the tag of ‘dependable food’ by the future managers. Apart from this the wide range of cold drinks available here keeps the students engaged in various discussions. 

New Canteen: RCM

 

The New Canteen of Royal College of Management is famous for its pizza. Can you think of delicious pizza in any other Bhubaneswar canteen at a price of Rs 50? This canteen serves pizza at this price and that is what has made it really popular among the students. Both veg and non-veg pizza are available here. 

 

Central Canteen: KIIT University

The Central Canteen of KIIT University is famous for its Aloo Masala. This dish of the canteen is so tasty that if you eat it once, you will definitely come back to have it again. You can ask any KIITian and he will give you the details about this almost perfect dish. 

 

ITER Canteen: ITER

It is Biryani of ITER Canteen that is most popular among its students. The menu of the canteen has been revised 3 years ago and since then the popularity of the canteen has grown manifold. It provides Chicken Biryani at Rs 90.
